Overview

This role combines operational facilities leadership with statutory compliance, serving as both the overall Strata/Facilities Manager and the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) for industrial properties. The position is responsible for ensuring seamless building operations, strict compliance with Singapore’s Fire Safety Act and SCDF regulations, and compliance with the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BSMA).

• Lead and manage the overall strata/facilities management operations industrial buildings.
• Perform duties as the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) and ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act, SCDF regulations and statutory requirements.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of M&E building services, including ACMV, electrical, fire protection and plumbing systems.
• Develop and implement fire safety management plans, emergency preparedness procedures and fire prevention measures.
• Manage service contracts, maintenance budgets, contractors and operational resources.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring contractual KPIs and service standards are achieved.
• Lead, coach and develop the site team while driving continuous operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements, company policies and all relevant statutory regulations.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• Possess a valid Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) certification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant strata/facilities management experience, with knowledge of the Building Strata Management Act.
• Knowledge of industrial building operations, M&E systems and fire safety regulations.
• Experience managing client relationships, contractors and service delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
